Vision: The vision for the Friends of the Three Bears is to fully utilize the Seneca County Courthouse Complex buildings and become the heart of the community for fine arts and education, and as a hub of tourism for the Finger Lakes Region.
Mission: The mission of the Friends of the Three Bears is to preserve the buildings known as the (historic Seneca County) Courthouse Complex, implement art, music and other educational programs/events and provide historical building tours and area information to visitors. The Friends will accomplish this through fundraising and community outreach.

Happy spring! The Friends of the Three Bears have many exciting new programs in the works for this spring. As the programs approach, more information will be posted on our website and social media, including information on how to register.

Join us in Papa Bear as local Celtic band Three Stone Fire holds an educational and entertaining event for Saint Patrick’s Day! Please email threebearsovid@gmail.com with any questions.

Easter Egg Painting Class: March 22nd 2:00-3:30pm
Local Ovid teen Chelsea Neville will return to show students how to paint a traditional mandala pattern on fake eggs using mandala dotting tools and acrylic paint. Leave the class with a fun easter decoration! This class is free, all materials are provided, and all ages are welcome. Space for this class is limited. Email threebearsovid@gmail.com to register.

Uncle Joe and Fiddlin’ Renee Performance: April 26th at 2pm
Joe and Renee will return to the Three Bears to perform in the Papa Bear courtroom! Their performance will be a mix of a musical performance and historical discussion. More details and a flyer to come.

Jay Leeming Storytelling: The Iliad April 16th, 23rd, and 30th at 7pm
Professional storyteller Jay Leeming will return to the Papa Bear courtroom for a three part performance of the Iliad. More details and a flyer to come.
