Fall 2025 Programs

Vision: The vision for the Friends of the Three Bears is to fully utilize the Seneca County Courthouse Complex buildings and become the heart of the community for fine arts and education, and as a hub of tourism for the Finger Lakes Region.
Mission: The mission of the Friends of the Three Bears is to preserve the buildings known as the (historic Seneca County) Courthouse Complex, implement art, music and other educational programs/events and provide historical building tours and area information to visitors. The Friends will accomplish this through fundraising and community outreach.

Dear Friends,

The Friends of the Three Bears have multiple programs happening as 2025 comes to an end. Please feel free to spread the word!

Beginner Juggling Class, 11/20

Join us in Papa Bear as local performer Nate Marshall teaches students how to juggle and perform other basic circus acts using various props such as: spinning plates, balancing feathers, hats, and balls on November 20, 2025 from 5 to 7pm. This class is free to attend, suitable for all ages, and open to the public. We still have space for more attendees, so please fill out the registration form or email threebearsovid@gmail.com if you are interested!

Ovid Winterfest and Three Bears Tree Auction, 12/6

Friday December 6th, 10:00am-4:00pm. The Friends of the Three Bears will be hosting the annual Three Bears Christmas Tree Auction. The bidding for trees will open on December 3rd and will close after the annual tree lighting on December 6th.

Wreath Making Class, 12/12

Join us in Papa Bear on December 12th from 5:30 to 7:30 to build your own wreath! Phoebe from Thistle Flower Farm will discuss sustainable floristry, pinecone wiring, and demonstrate how to construct a medium wreath using a variety of local evergreens, dried flowers from her farm, and pinecones. Each participant will then create their own long-lasting, fragrant, full wreath to take home with them. All materials and tools are provided, but we recommend that participants bring a pair of gloves. Free to attend, but space is limited. Please be sure to register by scanning the QR code on the flyer or emailing threebearsovid@gmail.com as soon as possible!
